What began as a granite fabrication shop has evolved into a comprehensive, full-service remodeling and design firm, serving homeowners and businesses across Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin.

Our founder, Denise Phillips, is a Rockford native whose journey from military service to interior design reflects a commitment to discipline, creativity, and community. After serving eight years in the Armed Forces, Denise returned to Rockford with a vision: to create a company that combines technical expertise with personalized design. This vision became Midwest Stone Source + Design Studio, a place where clients can find inspiration, quality materials, and expert guidance all under one roof.
